About Incoming Inspection Technician

  Incoming Inspection Technician is responsible for performing inspections on components and assemblies for use in the medical device industry in compliance with Philips Quality Management System, International Standards, and regulatory requirements.

  Your role:

  Measurement of parts, fixtures, tooling, assemblies and finished products utilizing appropriate tools and fixtures in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.

  Review of product certificates to ensure compliance with specifications.

  Maintain Quality Inspection requirements and results in Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP-ERP) to properly record inspection data.

  Accurately document test data and observations and retain paperwork and electronic records in compliance with approved procedures utilizing Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  Provide input for continuous improvement of inspection procedures, specifications and processes.

  Initiate nonconformance reports on defective material and provide support to Operations to aid in the investigation and disposition of product.

  You're the right fit if:

  You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing facility, preferably a regulated environment (e.g. automotive, aerospace, medical device).

  Your skills include the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and a general knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), metrology, materials, calibration, auditing and inspection techniques. Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) preferred, but not required.

  You have an Associate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.

  You have strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills, along with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize your workload.

  Philips Transparency Details

  The hourly pay range for this position is $17.84 to $30.58 plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

  In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.   At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
