About The Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for highly motivated, self-driven, bilingual Incident Response Analysts dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world. Our CrowdStrike virtual security operations center offers opportunities to expand your skill set through a wide variety of experiences, detecting and responding to incidents as they occur in real-time for our customers.
What You'll Do: Supporting Incident Response lifecycle via triage and investigation of detections and taking action as appropriate (e.g. live response, containment, escalation, etc.) Reading and translating Japanese documents related to security incidents and threat intelligence Participating in interview calls with Japanese-speaking employees and third parties to gather information related to security incidents Developing detection criteria across a broad range of technologies and log sources Identifying coverage and efficiency gaps in available data and tooling Providing information security reporting including security metrics as required Assisting with detection of security incidents and breaches, escalating them as necessary Providing after-hours support on an on-demand basis Driving efficient process development and documentation for all aspects of the Incident Response lifecycleWhat You'll Need:
Required: Fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages Experience responding to security events, including front-line analysis and escalation, of hacktivist, cybercrime, and APT activity Theoretical and practical knowledge with Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems Theoretical and practical knowledge with TCP/IP networking and application layers Experience with access/application/system log analysis, IDS/IPS alerting and data flow, and
SIEM-based workflows Experience with security data collection, processing, and correlationPreferred: Scripting experience highly desirable (Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) Experienced user of CrowdStrike Falcon Experienced user of Splunk Experience with host and network forensics Experience with basic static and behavioral malware analysisEducation: Undergraduate degree or direct experience in information security, information systems, or computer science Applicable security certifications (GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, etc.)#LI-JC1
