  ROLE SUMMARY

  This role will be responsible for driving Incentive Compensation (IC) strategic and transactional service delivery activities in China that allows the business to drive revenue and quality at scale. The Incentive Compensation China Lead role will strategically collaborate with China Country President and senior business leaders, Biopharma Ops Partners (BOPs), and other Regional Leads within Incentive Compensation on key Incentive Compensation services. This includes developing insights and motivational and compliant Incentive Compensation Plans, contests, and awards for China's Customer Facing Colleagues.

  The role will be responsible for service design (e.g. innovation), management and to support and enable service delivery and improvements for China within this service vertical ensuring the compliance to GMIS global policy.

  Key Attributes:

  Accountable for leading team of colleagues to deliver Incentive Compensation remit within China meeting and exceeding expectations while delivering value and enhancing service delivery continuity and quality

  Responsible for the below Incentive Compensation activities in China:

  Quota definition, application and management in partnership with CFEIC Bonus Plan design and managementContests, and Awards design and managementManage GMIS policy compliance Develop and provide insights and reports to our clientsProvide industry benchmark and analysis and incorporate insights into development discussions

  Enables IC Vertical team to implement service improvements and innovation to Incentive Compensation

  Collaborates with Incentive Compensation Service Global Vertical Lead, CFE China Lead and China BOP team and other Local team Leads to deliver strategic solutions in support of collective advantage that advance and optimize the Incentive Compensation under a globally connected, locally-embedded model

  Reports to Incentive Compensation Service Vertical Global Lead of Biopharma Ops

  ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  Leads Incentive Compensation services in China: Rewards Field Force colleagues by defining IC Plans and applying quotas, bonus recognition, contests, and awardsDrives and oversees Incentive Compensation processes for China sales representativesProactively identifies potential Incentive Compensation compliance risks in China and partners with Biopharma QualityAttracts, develops, retains, and engages a high performing virtual and in market service delivery team:Leads the Incentive Compensation service delivery team by attracting, developing and motivating a team of < 4 direct reports across multiple markets; recruits and retains talented colleagues in an environment and markets wherein colleague retention will be a key challengeCreates, maintains and demonstrates an in-depth understanding of priorities across the service delivery team and works collaboratively with the team to allocate team resources appropriately to meet service delivery commitmentsManages the high performance of the service delivery team ensuring team members are equipped with the required capabilities to perform their assigned tasks effectively

  Identifies opportunities for improving Incentive Compensation service delivery within China:Streamlines and scales systems across China and BUs with central supportIdentifies needs for innovation or operational supportDrives coordination across countries and regionsDrives alignment to the IC Design and Global Vertical service catalog definition, processes, enhancements and strategiesDrives transformation: standardization, optimization and automation towards higher efficiency, better service quality, and faster solution provisioningEnsures the collection and provision of service delivery data and insights to support further service delivery optimization, effectiveness of daily service delivery operations and to provide insight for Biopharma OpsEnsure the usage of Biopharma Ops service delivery tools and platforms.Improves quality, consistency (One Pfizer), and compliance across BUs and ChinaEnsure all service delivery meets agreed in place quality plans in collaboration with Biopharma Quality and PX Global Compensation to meet compliance policies, guidelines and procedures

  Partners with Regional Leads in Incentive Compensation group in defining priorities and allocating resources to drive efficient and effective HCP engagement:Possesses a deep understanding of China business landscapes and BU strategies to determine key priorities and their impact on Incentive Compensation activitiesProactively engages with Biopharma Ops Partners (BOPs) and BU leads to understand and 1) ensure alignment of Biopharma Ops' client strategies in China and 2) determines optimal resource allocation and investment that enables efficient and high-quality HCP engagementManages his/her budget to ensure service delivery commitment and financial expectations are metWill align, contribute to and implement new IC Design capabilities that are part of the Vertical roadmap and strategy

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Indicate qualifications that are job related, consistent with business necessity and necessary for the performance of an essential function of this role including: education/licenses/certifications, relevant experience (where legally permissible), technical and/or other job-related skills.

  BA Required; MBA or equivalent Master's-level education preferred10+ years of commercial experience, preferably in incentive compensation work and / or in China English proficiency preferredProven multi-year track record of 6 + years of team leadership experienceCross-BU and/or diversity of job experiencesProven track record of delivering business performanceDemonstrated history of leading innovation/transformationDrive for optimization/excellenceDelivery of exceptional customer services and experiencesTrack record for building strong culturesStrong ability to drive collaboration and foster highly productive, functional relationshipsDemonstrated agility and ability to drive program completion in expedited timelines

  Work Location Assignment: Flexible
