Job Summary and Qualifications
As part of the HCA Healthcare Enterprise Brand Story and Communications team, the HCA Healthcare Impact Center Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and engaging with individuals who visit our interactive center that showcases HCA Healthcare’s brand story.
The primarily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling, visitor tracking and record keeping for the Impact Center; facilitating and conducting tours as requested by HCA Healthcare leadership; first-level technical troubleshooting to ensure functional Impact Center operating systems; and coordination of maintenance and service support needs.
In addition, the administrator will be responsible for creating an ambassador program to improve the overall visitor experience and coordinating artifact roadshows for teams located in our divisions and facilities throughout the country.
The administrator will report to the Impact Center Curator who will be responsible for creating and maintaining a content archive and organizing content submissions from HCA Healthcare business units for routine updates of the Impact Center.
About the HCA Healthcare Impact Center
In honor of our rich legacy and the entrepreneurial spirit by which our organization was founded more than 50 years ago, we are currently constructing the HCA Healthcare Impact Center. The Impact Center — set to open in early 2024 — will serve as an immersive, interactive environment where colleagues, partners and other visitors can experience our incredible history and the immense impact our organization has on our patients, colleagues and communities today and into the future.
What you will do in this role:
• Execute superb day-to-day functional operation of the HCA Healthcare Impact Center and its systems, ensuring a positive experience for visitors.
• Create ambassador program to ultimately improve overall guest experience and increase tours/visits to the center.
• Conduct well-informed, engaging tours of the center for visitors as necessary and/or requested by HCA Healthcare leadership.
• Coordinate scheduling for artifact roadshows to share select artifacts/stories within divisions, markets and facilities (in partnership with the center curator)
• Support any HCA Healthcare personnel conducting their own tours of the center.
• Schedule tours with appropriate HCA Healthcare contacts using Microsoft Outlook or similar electronic system on the HCA Healthcare network.
• Coordinate maintenance with applicable vendors and HCA Healthcare’s facilities team.
• Maintain an exceptional working knowledge of HCA Healthcare technologies both displayed in the Impact Center and throughout the enterprise.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing an electronic archive of Impact Center content, such as existing and previously used raw and finished video, text scripts, images, graphics, exhibit programming and exhibit planning documents; backup the archive at regular intervals.
• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors providing services and support to the Impact Center.
• Support and maintain visitor database in the Impact Center with most current visitor information; compile and coordinate reporting of significant metric including internal and external customer feedback.
• Regularly update the content manager on logistic needs and actions in the center.
What qualifications you will need:
● Two years in a communications, public relations/public affairs, government relations or marketing role in a corporation, agency or government environment.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong knowledge of the HCA Healthcare organization; professional presence and public presentation capabilities.
● Excellent interpersonal skills.
● Proficiency with audio/video systems and consumer-level PC-based computer systems.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at one time in a corporate environment.
● Experience with executive briefing centers or visitor centers is a plus.
