Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking an Immigration Specialist.Responsibilities:
Works with Service Managers and clients to complete work permit, residency and visa documentation
Ensures all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinates with third parties on documentation needs (country specific)
Works with various offices to coordinate with employees in their country
Communicates with various government agencies for certification of documents
Initiates case with outside counsel to procure nonimmigrant and immigrant visas
Collaborates with client on sponsorship issues
Processes Visa and work permits where applicable
Reports immigration tax related issues to the tax department
Maintains immigration files for Employees on foreign assignments
Updates company database with appropriate passport and visa information
Reconciles billing invoices from outside vendors for legal, passport and visa services; Works with managers to obtain appropriate billing numbers for invoices and determines whether the charge is billable or non-billable
Tracks Visa and work permits progress
Reviews and assigns invoices for Visas and work permits from vendors
Performs other duties as assigned
Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
