The Global Sourcing Management team is responsible for negotiating commercial terms that balance cost, schedule and risk for advanced technologies that comprise Meta’s consumer-facing end products. The team owns the commercial growth strategy and business relationships with all suppliers and manufacturers. We move fast and leverage key partnerships to drive technical innovation, high quality standards and cost-savings via a customized supply chain.The Global Sourcing Management team is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Image Sensors to drive impact and deliver results in highly innovative RL devices. This position will focus on leading one of the most strategic categories in sourcing. The scope includes identifying, selecting and development of long-term partnerships for new products and new technologies through early engagement across cross functional partners, aligning external partner strategy to internal product roadmap needs and delivering best in class image sensor solutions to meet Meta product requirements at the right time, right speed and right cost. An ideal candidate will have high ambition to grow with Meta. You must be a high energy/impact individual with a demonstrated ability to succeed in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate through ambiguities/difficult obstacles through facts & data, evaluation of alternatives, open-mindedness, with a thought-through strategy, and superior communications to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities will be required.

Image Sensor Global Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:
Lead partnerships with Engineering, Product Management, Ops, and other XFN partners to identify and secure image sensor technologies and third party IP for our roadmaps.
Develop the overall vision, sourcing strategy and execution plan for image sensors delivering world class technology, quality, service, delivery and cost to Meta, and our customers.
Negotiate and execute master agreements, development agreements and Statements of Work. Establish, manage and own strategic supplier relationships at the executive levels.
Subject matter expert on E2E sourcing management including cost structure profiles and should-cost models. Lead Supplier QTR and QBR processes focused on exceeding Meta’s KPI’s and continuous performance improvement.
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Ops and other XFN partners to influence supplier technology roadmaps to create value-add to Meta’s system architecture and commercial targets.
Continually benchmark the industry to monitor technology trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into Meta Reality Lab’s product portfolio.
Drive Early Supplier Involvement initiatives to ensure our suppliers are proactively providing input into new product designs and future product roadmaps.
Establish supplier selection criteria, evaluate alternative suppliers, manage RFI/Q processes, and drive final supplier selection in partnership with Software and Hardware Engineering and Supply Base Engineering.
Formulate contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, assurance of supply and other partnerships related risks. Work with internal partners to mitigate technical issues and quality problems during development.

5 + years in a hardware GSM role in consumer electronics or high technology firm
Leadership, program management and cross-functional teamwork experience
Experience communicating and influencing all levels of management
Experience operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

$195,000/year to $267,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
