The IG Area Sales Director is accountable for leading and managing all aspects of the sales function at Kedrion in the West region. This person leads the effort to drive & execute on the sales strategy for current and future products. Additionally, the IG Area Sales Director will be responsible for people management and development within the team.
Main responsibilities include:
Responsible for execution of the business strategy and brand plans for Kedrion IG products. Responsible for Area sales achievement.
Lead a team of Regional Business Managers including training, coaching and developing the team to achieve business objectives, enhance core competencies and exceed sales goals.
Lead by example and foster a positive high performing team culture, consistently deliver results with integrity, role model compliance and build an environment where people are encouraged to do their best work.
Lead implementation of the strategic plan by their team at the account level
Assume the lead role as the primary Kedrion account contact for Specialty Pharmacy COEs and Directors / Managers of sales and field-based operations, KOLs and other critical customers within the region, including maintenance for the Kedrion IG product portfolio.
Translate all dimensions of marketing plans and strategies into sales execution. Allocate regional budgets to support the implementation of marketing programs.
Make effective day to day decisions required to manage the regional sales function, including deploying resources, allocating costs, directing sales activities, obtaining and analyzing information to identify key issues and commitment to action after weighing alternative solutions.
Plans and execute Regional Meetings and on site coaching of sales team members
Coordinates other Regional activity inclusive of collaboration with Marketing, Medical, Business Intelligence, peer groups and other functions.
Monitor and Manage expenses against established budget
Responsible for the assurance of field utilization of the CRM system, customer segmentation, and sales analytics in partnership with Business Intelligence and makes necessary adjustments that drive sales. Track and monitor sales activity and results to enhance the region’s 360 view of the customer.
Providing regular feedback in a clear and professional manner to the broader Kedrion US Commercial team on feedback from your team, customer feedback, competitor activity, buying patterns, trends within the IG space, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
7+ years first-line sales leadership/management experience
Knowledge and working experience in Immunology or Plasma proteins/ rare diseases marketplace is preferred.
Product launch experience a plus
Specialty pharmacy knowledge/understanding
Prior people management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a remote team towards meeting and exceeding goals
Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, decision making and problem solving skills
Ability to receive candid feedback and quickly make appropriate changes to improve performance
Significant travel required as outlined
Proximity to a major airport as Minimum of 50% travel is required in the role
Conduct a minimum of one, two-day work contacts with their direct reports each quarter and complete at least 1 field coaching reports per quarter per each IG Regional Business Manager.
