Job Description
Position Purpose
Provides incoming inspections, cleaning and measurements for sensor chip components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspects and cleans during pre-hybridization process; measures and inspects hybrids
Perform Hybridization bonding operations
Supports post-hybridization measurement and inspection operations
Works safely at all times and promptly reports anything found to be unsafe
Documents and reports any damage that occurs from inspections
Support efforts to identify and correct root causes of damage
Documents observations and prepares parts for further processing
Evaluates parts in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements and prepares documentation
Recommends process improvements or changes as required for new designs & product optimization
All work is performed in Cleanroom utilizing ESD safe protective wear
Frequently works with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for tracking and reporting of data
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
High School Diploma with five (5) to ten (10) years of experience or Associate’s Degree with three (3) to seven (7) years of experience
Training in laboratory practices including ESD precautions for handling of sensitive devices and appropriate handling of chemicals a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to perform assembly tasks such as operating equipment and handling devices
An understanding of metric and English measuring systems
Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good observation and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow procedures and diagrams
Skills and ability to operate complicated equipment such as Microscopes, measuring systems, optical inspection systems, plasma etcher, flip chip bonders etc.
Other Qualifications
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
Salary Range:
$35,090.00-$46,970.000
