ABOUT THE JOB:
As an HVAC Program Manager at WillScot Mobile Mini, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of HVAC initiatives to ensure Operation Field staff in properly maintaining our fleet of modular buildings, ground level offices, refrigerated container storage and DOT Reefer units across North America. You will develop programs and training to ensure our systems are maintained or updated per building codes and best practices are being applied. You will be the Subject Matter Expert on HVAC initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of maintenance, system upgrades, repair, and training of Operation field staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Oversee the execution of HVAC initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Monitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Create and manage training program across the network including certification tracking Service KPI’s
Create and maintain proper documentation including SWI and any visual aids associated to the tasks.
Team Leadership and Management:
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
Design and facilitate training sessions.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and forecasting.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project costs.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC installations and operations.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that HVAC systems meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, troubleshooting complex issues as needed.
Evaluate service performance (KPI’s) and provide RCA with corrective actions if necessary
Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, trends, and best practices.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education and Experience:
Education level: High School Diploma/GED
Years of related experience: 5
Skills & Systems
Technical Expertise – Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, trends, and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certified HVAC or related technical field.
Effectively able to lead HVAC Project Management
Effectively able to lead and manage a team.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry standards
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in project management software and tools
Travel Requirements:
