The Building Automations/HVAC Controls System Programmer performs HVAC building controls programming activities. These client-needs focused activities include the preparation, computer programming, and activation of various systems within the client complex. The Controls Systems Programmer supports the total quality effort by identifying and responding to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.
Key Job Duties:
Program DDC components and systemsEnsure client satisfaction through all phases of the programming processPlan and organize projects with CCM to support organizational goals and prioritiesDevelop and maintain site graphics and/or programs including required system updatesConduct special and/or complicated installations with minimal assistancePerform controls related service calls including but not limited to: installation, preventative maintenance, and repair, as needed.Confirm programmatic changes by conducting field tests and modifying programs if necessaryMaintain technical proficiency using various methods, including but not limited to: company provided training, technical journals, system manuals, etc.Train, develop, and mentor newer company personnel on building automation systems.Make every reasonable effort to ensure all employees a safe working environment*Candidate Requirements: *
Tridium Niagara Certification preferred2+ years experience with HVAC controls system preferred Completion of state-certified HVAC Apprenticeship program and/or 5 years' experience commercial/industrial HVAC systemsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredValid US Driver's licenseUS Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status requiredAble to comprehend complex written or spoken technical instructions, blueprints, schematics, drawings, etc.We value our employees and are committed to doing everything possible to ensure your continued growth and opportunities!
