Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated businesses. The position formulates partnerships between the HR function and Functional teams to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of Eaton. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.
• Provide direct HR support to the business, working with Functional leadership on strategic and tactical work
• Conducts regular meetings with respective functions to keep up to date on issues within the teams.
• Consults with all levels of functional management, providing HR guidance when appropriate on a variety of topics
• Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Assists with hiring, promotions and transfers
• Provides guidance and input on functional workforce planning and succession planning.
• Identifies training needs for functional team members; including coaching needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR function, within a manufacturing environment. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.Relocation is not provided. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Eaton's facility in Orchard Park, NYCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
