Description
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Workday HRIS Specialist to join their team. This individual will need to be a doer, focused on executing and implementing, rather than consulting. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief People Officer and will be given the autonomy to orchestrate the best integration of ADP, Deltek, and Workday for the organization. This role is 100% remote and requires a commitment for a period of 4 to 5 months.
Responsibilities:
Provide expertise and guidance on Workday's business processes including HCM, Benefits, Talent, Payroll, and Financials.
Configure Workday solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business processes and needs.
Identify and analyze gaps in the current Workday system and propose effective solutions to meet business objectives.
Perform functional testing of Workday configuration, identify and remediate defects.
Facilitate change management activities, helping users adapt to changes in Workday.
Deliver end-user training and support, fostering independence in Workday usage.
Serve as a liaison between the business users and IT support team for any system issues, updates, or improvements.

Proven Workday HRIS expertise.
Experience in both configuration and understanding of business processes in Workday.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create Workday solutions based on business needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate training and change management activities.
Able to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
