In this role, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our HR Information Systems (HRIS) to provide solutions for our HR programs. This role will be responsible for the development, design, deployment, support, and troubleshooting of assigned HR Information Systems. In addition, this role will manage the fulfillment of report requests from across the organization. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the different Centers of Excellence across Human Resources and several departments across the organization to support a multitude of business initiatives. It will be critical for you to have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the administration, analysis, support, and maintenance of assigned HR Information Systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrityDevelop, generate, and deliver ad-hoc reports from reporting writing tool, ensuring data accuracyMonitor system performance and address any problems or outages immediately for assigned HR systemsEvaluate and recommend system functionality currently available but not yet utilized in assigned HR SystemsEnsure timely system upgrades and patches for assigned HR Systems while working closely with our vendors and IT partnersUnderstand and maintain employees' Data Privacy compliance measures, HR laws, and regulations associated with resource and data management. Follow appropriate change control processes and approval processes when applying updates to employee records and other system configuration.Provide training to HR and other teammates for assigned HR Information Systems as neededWork as a team member with other technical staff to develop integrated solutions with other internal systems, replicated databases and third party vendorsSupport end users on system access and utilization for assigned HR systemsMaintain account logins, permissions, and security measures for assigned HR systemsOther duties as assigned

RequirementsMinimum of 5 years of relevant experienceBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, IT, or a relevant fieldAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with UKG Pro and Cognos BI a plus
Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $59,500 to $87,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.
This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
