HRConnect is the name for AbbVie-centric HR and Payroll support and services focused on providing excellent customer experience as a primary principle. Service Centers based in Illinois, Tokyo, Singapore, and Krakow are dedicated to support AbbVie Employees and Managers with their administrative and operational needs.
The HRConnect Consultant I is responsible for routine customer experience inquiries related to the Service catalog (e.g., HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent etc.) and provides Employee and Manager self-service support.
Responsibilities :
Answers employee and manager general questions related to HR and Payroll processes, policies and other general questions via phone, chat or email.
Redirects misplaced calls.
Documents all employee inquiries, issues, and transactions in our case management system as required.
Leverages procedures, policy manuals, knowledge databases, articles and other reference materials to resolve inquiries.
Redirects complex inquiries to appropriate operations support as needed when additional in-depth knowledge is required (e.g. Tier II Functional Specialists, Payroll, Benefits, Total Rewards, Finance, Business HR, etc.)
Maintains personal and organizational data in the HR system (Workday).
Partners with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Business HR, Benefits, Total Rewards, Finance, and others).
Actively looking for continuous improvement ideas and running some of the initiatives towards process improvements and automation.
Keep the process documentation up to date.
Participates in ad hoc projects, as assigned.
Key Stakeholders: HR Operations team, Payroll, Business HR, HR COEs, Third party vendors, AbbVie colleagues
Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Spanish/French, preferred, but not required.
Strong customer service, interpersonal skills and critical thinking.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and operate in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with HR service and processes and/or HRIS tools and systems strongly preferred (Workday, Salesforce, ATS, Kronos, etc.).
Operates with integrity and follows standard procedures and processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word).
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
