This position for HR Business Operations plays an integral role on the HR Business Operations team, reporting to the Supervisor HRSS. This role will have primary responsibility to support India region.
At our HR Shared Services Department in Medtronic, we focus on administrative, project, operational and data support for HR Business Partners (“HRBPs”) in the execution of core processes to ensure consistency, effectiveness and efficiency promoting use and adoption of our HR technology platforms.
HR Business Operations are directly involved in providing HRBPs with accurate, consistent and timely responses to their questions and issues regarding HR transactional and technology needs, developing an in-depth understanding of the customer’s needs and engages with customers to ensure quality of response, contributes to the continuous development of knowledgebase tools to provide consistent responses to customers, escalates cases in a timely way and promotes the use of self-help tools such as Workday and knowledgebase to encourage customers to answer questions on their own.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø You will contribute to building a strong and knowledgeable team to provide HRBO operational support and services to HRBP’s and VP’s of Medtronic on HR topics.
Ø You will lead the implementation of processes, procedures, and policies necessary to manage a multi-tiered shared service HR while driving towards standardization at the same time.
Ø You will consult, advise, and collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners to ensure optimum operation of HR applications and services.
Ø You will be responsible for educating and training the HRBO team on the HR applications, processes, and procedures in place within Medtronic HR.
Ø Together with Team Members you will define, review, update, and audit adherence to standardized work. You will identify, resolve and/or escalate as appropriate problems that arise using A3 DMAIC process to identify root cause of issues.
Ø To work on Workday on various reports for supporting HRBP & VP requests. To validate and analyze data reports.
Ø Responsible for preparing Ad-hoc reports, HR PMO Dashboards & Trend Analysis basis on the requirements.
Ø Regular review of WD transactions and action appropriately in line with working with different stakeholders.
Ø To work on Service Now to communicate with employees. To respond the cases assigned to HRBO within defined TAT and to resolve accordingly.
Ø To support all TR requests for letter generation via Service Now.
Ø To work on personnel file repository system to ensure all relevant files are upload correctly.
Ø To produce the records on requests and manage repository system with data files.
Ø To assign the system access requests for new users in coordination with IT and AskHR.
Ø To identify and assign training needs to new user/employees about system functionality.
Ø To work with different teams on promotion process during mid-year and year end processes.
Ø To generate promotion data reports, reconciliation to ensure correctness.
Ø To generate letters, communicate to the managers and close the process.
Ø Act as a Data Steward for their group or region – Attend Data Steward meetings – Facilitate data audits for their group or region – Provide project management support for organizational realignments.
Ø Act as a Compliance coordinator, ensuring that a company is following legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
Provide country support where needed to plug gaps where other Tier 2 groups are not fully implemented.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience• Fully proficient in English
• Experience in HR Operations/Shared Services
• Strong communication skills and able to work effectively with people at all management levels.
• Model ethical and inclusive behavior
• HR Technology including ServiceNow and/or Employee database platform.
• Time management skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
• Experience in handling sensitive/confidential information
• Self-motivated, ability to problem solve and bring issues to resolution quickly
