  MISSION STATEMENT

  JOB SUMMARY

  Cresco Labs is seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our HR Shared Services team at our Chicago, IL headquarters.Working closely with HR and business leaders, the HR Specialist primarily facilitates preboarding and onboarding processes across multiple states and locations within the Cresco Labs enterprise. The HR Specialist is responsible for managing a variety of processes and HR duties in support of HR Shared Services and administration, special projects, and recruiting efforts.

  CORE JOB DUTIES

  Partner closely with Recruiters and HR Business Partners in coordination of the onboarding processes for new hires, including completion of paperwork, meeting compliance requirements, HRIS enrollment, orientation, and other processes.Create and manage a unified, consistent, and outstanding onboarding experience for new hiresCollaborate with HR Shared Service Manager and HR leadership to evaluate, map, improve, and automate processes.Manage the organization, setup, tracking, and candidate experience of various background check and badging processes, in accordance with state regulations.Serve as subject matter expert and end-user support for all tools used in preboarding and onboarding (Greenhouse, Law Logix, Checkr, etc.). Efficiently uses these systems to optimize work.Manage onboarding trackers and related reporting; identifyopportunities to gain efficienciesCreate and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation related to HR processes.Ad hoc support of enterprise-wide HR processes, as needed.Prepare audits and reports and present findings, as requested.Responsible for administrative HR project support and special projects, as needed.Provide coverage for other team members when required.Perform other duties as assigned.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred2+ years of demonstrable experience across HR functions / areas of expertiseHighly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and WordAbility to use general office equipment and troubleshooting methodsExcellent communicator and active listenerMust be extremely detail-orientedExceptional organizational skillsFlexible, resourceful, and adaptable to change
