  The Equinix Internship Program opportunity offers wide-ranging opportunities across all of our functions, where you will be given the opportunity to gain basic knowledge and understanding, working alongside our leaders. You will spend your time gaining practical work experience and learning from some of the sharpest minds in the industry, work in a culture that thrives on innovation and delivering results, while building solid relationships with industry leaders, and fellow students from around the country.

  Job Summary

  Opportunity to work in our HR New to Career team to help develop and execute the Equinix Internship program across Asia-Pacific plus take on global projects.

  In this internship position, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills within program management in a global talent team where you will touch on marketing, event management, recruitment and coordination. You will also be given a key project to deliver which may be involved in research, competitive analysis, or emerging trends such as Ai. This project will be showcased at our yearly intern competition.

  Position starts in May 2024 for 12 weeks and has opportunity to extend part time.

  Role responsibilities:

  Marketing & Events

  Develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts to support hiring and marketing campaigns for all marketing channels while adhering to global brand guidelines Update current job advertisement as needed Conduct employee interviews to contribute and create social media content and blog articles about what's like working at Equinix Create templates to enable the team rolling out talent marketing campaigns Events - coordinate events, send invitations, and assist in facilitation and content creation

  Recruitment and program support

  Build relationships with Universities and diversity partnersMarket research - Assist with market researchAssist with the administration & coordination of the intern programMaintain event calendar, inventory of intern swag, update reports and respond to admin requests

  Skills & Experience

  Strong graphic design and copywriting skills An eye for typography, composition, layout and color Able to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner High level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel & PowerPointProficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent, and digitally savvy with social media channels Have an agile mindset and able to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentAbility to effectively communicate and build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externallyTrustworthy when dealing with confidential and sensitive information;Experience in event management a bonusThird or Final Year Undergraduate majoring in Human Resources, Marketing or Psychology
