Job Overview
TE's HR Regional Solutions Partners function in a variety of Human Resources activities including employment and employee relations, recruiting, termination and data analysis/metrics. They implement Human Resources policies at the country, regional or global level partnering with management to drive company-wide programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Designs, implements and monitors a variety of human resource policies and programs on a site, country or regional level in the areas of HRIS/compensation/ benefits, staffing/employment, employee relations, and/or organizational development and training. Key responsibilities include:
Focused on providing HR professional services to a client group of managers and employees at GM and below
Partners with management to develop and maintain employee relationships to create a respectful working environment for the site/country/region through communication, performance management, and processing grievances and/or disputes.
Investigates and advises both management and employees on personnel matters.
Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.
Interprets and communicates company policies and ensures legal compliance.
Investigates and evaluates union complaints or disputes to determine viability.
Applies the TEOA principles and tools to continuously improve HR processes and services.
Participates in the recruitment process, discusses staffing needs with line managers, screens applications, and conducts interviews.
Assists in career development issues and outlines career paths options with line managers.
Do labor cost assimilation according to business request, providing advice to managers on the wages and salaries of employees
What your background should look like:
Bachelor degree or above or equivalent experience; HR related major preferred.
Typically requires minimum 5+ years of professional working experience in HR environment.
Breadth of HR knowledge and skills in a variety of fields,has served as an HR business partner or generalist for organizations with differing business models and complexity will be a plus.
Has held roles in other HR disciplines (HR Operations/Comp & Benefits/Talent Management) which provided both vertical and horizontal exposure and experience.
Detects internal and environmental changes and is able to influence relevant stakeholders to respond to those changes effectively.
Must possess knowledge of applicable local employment laws and practices.
Proficiency in Chinese and English.
