The East Europe Commercial headquarters team is based in Prague. The commercial activities are managed through 6 Country/Region MD’s responsible for selling door lock hardware, access control systems and high security doors in the region. Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Managing Director CSH region, the jobholder will be the key contact for employees and managers for all HR matters in the region. The region consists of several commercial units with almost 280 employees. On top that there is a production site at Rychnov nad Kneznou with own HR team, which provides administrative and payroll support to all Czech entities under the same legal entity. Rychnov site is part EE Manufacturing division and there is a close collaboration with respect to HR matters.
ASSA ABLOY is looking for a HR Manager to cover HR activities in all ASSA ABLOY commercial companies in Czech Slovakia Hungary region. The jobholder will be a true business partner, working as member of CSH leadership team responsible for both the tactical and day-to-day development within the HR area. The jobholder will be the functional expert, delivering excellent HR services across the region at efficient cost and ensuring that corporate processes such as Recruitment, Talent Management, Headcount Reporting, Personal development, Remuneration and others are managed in a professional manner. He / she will drive the organization forward to achieve its goals by recruiting, retaining and developing the workforce across CSH region.
Principal Responsibilities:
To design and implement HR strategy across all business units within the CSH region
To recruit, train and develop employees in CSH so that the business objectives of the respective companies are met or exceeded
To drive the corporate processes in a professional manner
To drive cultural changes required to achieve business objectives, introduce new ASSA ABLOY values and corporate identity
To be a true business partner for the regional Leadership team
To ensure that effective and appropriate HR Policies and Procedures are in place
To share best practices among ASSA ABLOY companies in EEC region
To ensure that contracts and other HR documents are created and maintained in a manner that minimizes the Company to risk of litigation
To develop good working relationships with other HR professionals in the region
To be responsible for talent management and workforce planning
To help to create positive employer branding proposition to attract and retain talents
To coordinate and be in charge for all HR reporting in CSH
Education, Work Experience and Personal Qualities:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, or related discipline. Master’s degree a plus.
A minimum of 7+ years of broad-based HR experience with at least 3 years’ experience in HR leadership role in large or at least mid-sized production company
In-depth knowledge of all HR functions such as organization diagnosis, transformations, strategic planning, post-acquisition integration, training and development, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
Ability to prioritize and coordinate
Excellent organizational skills, ability to priorities and delegate
Pragmatic thinking person with hands on approach
Able to manage effectively the team
Effective, value-added contributor outside of HR functional areas
Fluent Czech/Slovak and English, Hungarian language would be a big plus
Prepared to travel within CSH region
