What you'll do:
Job Summary
Establishes, manages, and administers an effective human resources program in accordance with Corporate policies, procedures, and practices and in compliance with all local regulatory requirements concerning employee selection and recruitment, employee relations, communication, reward and recognition.
Job Responsibilities
Lead the HR function & strategy for a start-up manufacturing facility that will grow to an employee population up to approximately 300 employees on multiple shiftDrive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Conducts the screening, selection and recruitment process of personnel to fill open positions in accordance with guidelines and proceduresImplement and administer approved compensation programs to ensure employees are competitively compensated as per the existing Corporate wage and salary administration guidelinesDevelop, coordinate and conduct employee training and development activities to help improve the mangerial, supervisory, professional and technical/vocational competence of the employeesSupport the EHS personnel for incident investigation and EHS programsDeveop and implement innovative employee reward and recognition programs to foster employee engagement and recognition of significant contributions.Plans, develops and implements an effective communications program to maintain a sound informatoin exchange system between management and employees, and the surrounding community.Plans, develops and conducts community involvement programs to foster better interpersonal relations, motivation and positive attitudes within the workforce.Provide management with counseling, coaching and assistance in all pertinent matters related to the Company's policies, procedures and practices, labor laws and regulations and other human resources issues and concerns.Supports and implments Eaton's human resources intiatives to meet Corporate goals and objectives in line with the business' strategic plan.Recommends and administers appropriate budget for the operation of the department's functional programs and projects
Qualifications:
Education level required
Bachelor's Degree
Years and area of experience required
7+ years of experience
Technical knowledge
Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish); experience with Microsoft Office software products (, Oracle, Prefer: SPN, Stromberg/Kronos time & attendance systems; knowledge of DR Labor Law (Ministerio de Trabajo), Social Security and other compliance regulations;
