Job Overview:
We are looking for an HR Manager to join our Human Resources team in Dallas, TX (hybrid). In this position, you will serve as a strategic partner to our staff to provided day-to-day support and guidance to leaders and teams. The HR Manager will counsel our employees in navigating their career path, assist with resolving employee relations issues and manage programs for growth and development. The ideal candidate is exceptionally focused on putting people first, is a strong communicator and will be a champion of TMA’s culture and core values.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the HR Director, meet regularly and proactively with the department/discipline leads to provide HR guidance on topics such as; organizational change, employee relations, employee development, performance management, etc. Serve as thoughtful, consultative HR Partner to staff in all areas of the HR life cycle. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to team leads (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Play a supportive role in salary planning process, providing advice and counsel as needed. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increases productivity and retention. Collaborate with Managers and Recruiting partners to ensure we are hiring, engaging and retaining top talent. Collaborate with HR team to execute and manage ad hoc projects and programmatic initiatives to promote a high-performance culture with minimal supervision. Be knowledgeable of HR Policy guidance and interpretation. Partner with legal to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Proactively recommend opportunities for organizational development to address evolving needs of the business (e.g., reporting structure, titles, position profiles, succession planning, etc.) Be an advocate for our diversity and inclusion strategy. Qualifications: Knowledge – Understands HR best practices and demonstrated functional expertise. Problem solving— Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities. Interpersonal Skills—Empathetic, client service-oriented approach with the ability to effectively tailor communication style based on the audience. Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively to present a thoughtful point of view with tact and diplomacy in individual meetings and group settings. Written Communication—the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and is able to read and interpret written information. Confidentiality —the individual actively promotes and personally practices a high level of integrity and confidentiality in their character and day-to-day behavior. Quality control—the individual demonstrates high-levels of accuracy and thoroughness, and monitors own work to ensure quality. Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, accountable to team members, responds appropriately to feedback and strives for performance improvement. Advocate—Passionate about enhancing the employee experience and leading change management initiatives to support a positive culture and morale. Additional Relevant Experience And Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Organization Development or related field. 3-5+ years of relevant HR experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist. Employee relations and performance management experience required. PHR/SPHR is a plus. Proven ability to work independently and autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever changing, rapid-growth environment. Experience working for a marketing, advertising or media professional services company a plus. Requirements
