A bit more about you
An exciting opportunity to join Adobe as part of the broader Global Employee Resource Center (ERC) shared services organization as a HR Generalist Operations Team Lead, APAC & Japan. This leader will report into the Head of the APAC & Japan ERC and will be responsible for process excellence and team leadership.
Leading a virtual team distributed across APAC & Japan offices, the ERC Generalists Manager will partner with representatives from support functions across Adobe to deliver optimal employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle at Adobe. This is a critical role, as Generalists represent the face of Employee Experience organization to the employees.
What you'll do
The ERC Generalist team is the initial point of contact for all Employee and Manager inquiries. This team is responsible for providing generalist support intended to improve manager and employee success by addressing inquiries related to HR policies, procedures and programs, identifying and clarifying issues through inquiry, evaluating potential solutions, implementing selected solutions, or escalating to an ER Consultant if the solution requires on-going interaction or specialized coaching.
This team provides resolutions for the vast majority of inquires that come through the ERC organization. The role requires a proactive approach in anticipating Employee Experience related needs and a solutions-oriented mindset to resolving issues. The ideal leader will need a mix of operations aptitude and customer-centered focus.
Key Responsibilities
Providing leadership and guidance for managing our Generalists team including weekly 1:1s and team meetings, identifying stretch objectives and projects and ensuring team is developing key skills required for role
Promoting and practicing highest level of customer support and providing insights related to customer satisfaction
Provide oversight on key projects to elevate scope of work
Monitoring team performance and ensuring customer satisfaction with the services provided
Streamline current processes to increase operational efficiencies
What you need to succeed
Demonstrates leadership in the areas of strong EQ, selecting talent, role modeling expectation setting and feedback, leading change and scaling the business
Promotes diversity within the team and has ability to attract and select top talent at all times to build an internal and external pipeline
Establishes challenging, yet attainable performance expectations to support team growth
Demonstrated management experience (2+ years), with 8 or more years of HR specific experience
Experience in working in a fast-paced industry
Additional language capabilities(Mandarin/Japanese) is a plus
