Job Description
Reporting to the HRVP, the HR Director has substantial HR expertise and serves as the key business partner to the Vice President of Operations for the South Region to implement strategies and programs across all areas of HR for their assigned area aimed at driving successful people outcomes including talent management, organizational design, change management, labor and employee relations, attraction and retention and driving overall organizational engagement. This position will lead the Market HRM team supporting our team of Market VPOs.
Job Responsibilities
In partnership with business leaders & the HRVP, set, drive, & execute the HR/talent agenda for assigned area
Serve as trusted & credible HR business partner
Own & drive successful outcomes for assigned area:
ID HR/talent needs using understanding of the market, portfolio, challenges, business & client objectives, and data to drive insights; developing strategies that make an impact and executing about them
Build & lead a strong, empowered, and trusted HR team through coaching, developing, and accountability
Collaborative problem solving & ensuring thorough execution of all HR programs & solutions
Drive successful outcomes across all areas of HR/talent for their assigned area including:?
Ensuring ?right & ready? talent through development and leadership of strategies in the following areas: talent acquisition, talent management, performance and career development, succession planning and leadership pipeline development
Understanding the key and unique drivers of attraction and retention and partnering appropriately to develop & execute strategies to make an impact
Establish strong and effective labor relations management in partnership with the LR team
Compensation & workforce planning
Lead employee engagement and impact planning process
Engagement and retention, onboarding, training & development needs ID and coordination, leadership coaching
Ensure compliance with employment law and HR policies
Lead new business opening process for assigned area
Maintaining a presence with our teams in the field is an important part of this position. Over the course of the year, the HRD can expect to travel approximately 25-40%.
Qualifications
At least 10 years of progressive HR experience across a variety of generalist and specialist roles including talent management, talent acquisition, organizational design, and employee + labor relations
At least 5 years of experience leading a team of exempt-level HR professionals or similar combination of education and experience
Ideal candidate will have some combination of experience working with:
Large, decentralized, high-growth environment providing managed services
Post-acute healthcare, long-term care, senior living, skilled nursing industry
Large, distributed non-exempt level employee base with high volume hiring
Collective bargaining units and unions
Multiple client groups and geographic markets
Leading and engaging a remote team
HR shared services structure
