HR Corporate Business Partners are responsible for strategic collaboration with leaders to build and develop a strong workforce and align HR initiatives and functions with Famous’ goals and objectives. Primary Job Responsibilities
Build meaningful relationships with Associates to cultivate a safe, trustworthy, and supportive spaceUnderstand leaders’ staffing goals, develop strategy to deliver, then executeSupport leaders through performance evaluation and Associate developmentAdvise leaders on topics such as ADA, FMLA, and compensationCollaborate with leaders to increase associate engagement and retentionPractice continuous improvement by reviewing and revising departmental processes and developing new processes as neededAnalyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policiesProvide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planningResponsible for managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.Coach leaders on performance improvement and having important conversationsPartner with leaders to ensure new associate onboarding process is executedAddress Associate issues and conduct investigations when necessaryEnsure that the company complies with HR-related laws and regulations and that HR policies and procedures are consistent with the company's values and objectivesLead HR projects Required Experience and SkillsHuman Resources, or related, experienceInternal customer service mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize workRecruiting and succession planningEffective communication and teamworkPreferred Experience and SkillsBachelor’s Degree Human Resources or related field3-5 years HR Generalist Experience Knowledge of employment lawExperience in an office environmentRecruiting experienceExperience in Microsoft Office and OutlookExperience in ADP WorkForce Now and JazzHRWhat Makes Us Famous!
