Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):
Serve as a strategic Human Resources ("HR") partner and primary HR contact for assigned senior business leader and their direct report team. Collaborate with senior leaders to craft business and people strategies that support the departmental and corporate short and long-term goals. Ensure consistent methodologies are used across span of oversite. Key areas of focus include, but are not limited to, business strategy, strategic workforce planning, retention, engagement, data analysis, talent management and development, organizational and business unit equity, and overall business unit health. Maintain an independent voice and represent HR and the company in all matters. Identify other people needs and partner with the business units to develop key strategies. Ensure that the business strategy of assigned clients align with HR strategies and goals. Exercise global insight and discernment to determine impact of strategic plans and actions under development within their business units on the Human Resources and the greater organization. Apply applicable company policies and appropriately elevate concerns.
Serve as a partner within the Human Resources team, sharing best practices and participating in the development of HR employees.Leverage expertise of HR Centers of Excellence to maximize HR resources while leading processes to bring matters to a successful conclusion for the betterment of their customers
Exhibit professional behaviors and communication skills needed to represent HR to the business and the HR team. When necessary, provide insight and guidance to HR partners, peers and subordinate staff. Pursue professional development and will maintain HR certifications.

Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Experience:Professional experience in one or more of the following functions:
developing/running Human Resources Business Partner Model
compensation/Employee Benefits
EEO/Employee Relations
staffing/Recruitment
Experience in:
interacting with managers and business leaders
internal consulting
leading strategic discussions
coaching managers and business leaders
preparing effective oral and written materials
employee counseling, coaching, evaluation and/or policy interpretation
Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of:
HR business support models
state and federal employment regulations
effective employee communication techniques
Principles of Employment Law
Ability to:
prepare and present reports and/or proposals to all levels of management
communicate effectively with all levels of management and with the public
strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
Experience:
five years of HR experience, prior experience partnering with and supporting the Information Technology space strongly desired
