  The Opportunity

  We are looking for an accomplished Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

As part of our Montreal team you will:

   

  Drive and support the embedding of the business strategies by working in partnership with the business;Provide guidance and input on workforce planning, team restructures, and succession planning, ensuring that core HR processes are applied appropriately and in a legally compliant manner;Develop strategies for people management, succession planning, and talent management for key managerial positions and for stakeholders. This is inclusive of developing a strategic approach to recruitment of key staff in collaboration with the GTA team;Ensure the local HR Strategy is aligned with the Business Strategy and Global HR Strategy ensuring organisational objectives are achieved and aligned with the organisation’s vision, mission, values, culture and objectives;Ensure partnership between the GTA team and internal clients to achieve our recruitment objectives. This involves identifying recruitment challenges and working closely with the GTA Manager to find solutions;Leverage internal and external professional networks in order to achieve better talent and HR outcomes.Anticipate workforce planning by assessing the retention rate; work closely with the business to identify recruitment needs and reasons for resignation in order to provide recruitment with a strategic alignment;Develop a people plan for the business and its various teams taking into account the wider HR agenda and any specific people issues that may be existent within the business. This includes the implementation of talent management processes for all employees in all teams and provides thought-leadership on issues that may avail improved operation and performance of the business.;Work with the senior management team to identify HIPO’s within the senior management team to ensure we retain our top talent by providing them with a career plan;Develop, modify or create and implement internal HR policies and procedures and in line with local legislation;Analyse trends and metrics in order to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and also to avoid future ones;Drive L&D initiatives and act as the liaison between L&D and the business including participation in formal learning programmes required by the organization;  

  In collaboration with the local business head:

   

  Provide the day-to-day performance management guidance to the business through coaching, career development, counselling, and disciplinary actions. Keep senior management including the Regional Head/EMC member updated on progress of all ER issues;Handle complaints, disciplinary action and litigations;Support employee engagement by introducing mental health and wellbeing programs with the aim of ensuring our employees feel valued and connected to the organization and progress as agreed;Support Line Manager’s with department specific training plans.  

  The HR Business Partner reports to the HR Director, North America & the Caribbean. The HR Business Partner will provide direct management support to any members on their team.  The HRBP will work closely with the global HR team on different initiatives related to talent and culture..

   

  The HR Business Partner is dedicated to provide strategic and business consultative services to the business, aiming at delivering HR solutions to business issues.

   

  The HRBP leverages technical expertise from the HR Centres of Expertise (“COE”) to deliver HR solutions (i.e., Global Talent Acquisition Team (“GTA’’), HR Shared Services (‘’HRSS’’) and Learning and Development (“L&D’’) and acts as the liaison between HR and the business.

   

  What You Bring

  In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

   

  Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources in a fast paced environment;Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business PartnerStrong communication and leadership skills;Must bilingual (French and English).

En tant que membre de notre équipe de Montréal, vous devrez:

   

  Élaborer des stratégies et fournir des conseils sur la planification des effectifs, la structure des équipes et la gestion des talents, en veillant à ce que les processus fondamentaux des ressources humaines soient appliqués de manière appropriée.S’assurer que la stratégie RH locale est alignée sur les stratégies RH et de l’entreprise au niveau mondial pour atteindre les objectifs organisationnels, et est alignée sur la vision, la mission, les valeurs, la culture et les objectifs de Maples.Assurer la liaison entre les CDE et l’entreprise afin de permettre un déploiement optimal des initiatives et politiques mondiales et régionales.Travailler en partenariat avec la directrice , Ressources humaines – Amérique du Nord et Caraïbes et les chefs des CDE dans le cadre de projets touchant les ressources humaines, y compris la gestion des plans de projets RH locaux. Coordonner les projets locaux et mondiaux pour assurer une mise en œuvre au sein des groupes clients.Anticiper les besoins de la planification des effectifs en évaluant le taux de roulement et autres indicateurs de performance RH; travailler en étroite collaboration avec l’entreprise et le service d’Acquisition de talents pour cerner les besoins de recrutement et les raisons de départ afin d’assurer l’orientation stratégique du recrutement.Élaborer un plan RH pour les groupes clients assignés en tenant compte du programme général des ressources humaines et de tout défi qui pourrait exister au sein de l’entreprise.Gérer l’allocation des ressources par le biais des rapports des ressources humaines. Faciliter l’allocation du budget de l’entreprise en vue de veiller au respect de celui-ci.Modifier ou créer et mettre en œuvre des politiques et procédures internes en matière de ressources humaines, conformément à la culture et aux valeurs de Maples ainsi qu’à la législation locale en vigueur.Analyser des tendances et des données RH afin d’améliorer les processus et les programmes des ressources humaines et ainsi répondre efficacement aux besoins actuels et futurs.Piloter les initiatives d’apprentissage et de perfectionnement, et assurer la liaison entre le service d’apprentissage et de perfectionnement, et l’entreprise, y compris la participation aux programmes de formation formel requis par l’organisation.Fournir aux groupes clients assignés des conseils en matière de gestion du rendement au quotidien en fournissant un accompagnement et du perfectionnement professionnel. Effectuer la gestion de dossiers en relations de travail.Soutenir l’engagement et le bien-être des employés par le biais de programmes de santé mentale et de promotion du bien-être afin d’assurer que nos employés se sentent valorisés et intégrés à l’organisation.  

  Votre contribution

  En plus d’une autonomie et de normes en matière d’éthique incontestablement élevées, le candidat idéal possédera les caractéristiques suivantes:

   

  minimum de 10 ans d’expérience en Ressources humaines, dont 5 ans en tant que partenaire d’affaires, Ressources humaines dans un environnement en constante évolution;solides compétences en matière de communication, de relations interpersonnelles et de leadership;maîtrise du français et de l’anglais tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
