About the Team
We are looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner Lead to join our growing Global Business Solutions (GBS) human resources team. The GBS is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Agencies, Partnerships, and Marketing Science.
Global Business Marketing (GBM) envisions establishing TikTok as a leading global brand by setting industry standards and fostering collaboration. We empower businesses through creative communications, programs, and learning initiatives. The Marketing Science (MS) team provides data insights and measurement support for our Global Marketing team to help them grow and measure the impact of marketing campaigns both on and off our platform. Committed to partnership and service, we enhance regional marketing teams' success and efficiency. Specifically, you will:
- Translate business agendas and objectives into a strategic HR roadmap, with supporting initiatives and action plans while garnering support/ownership for that roadmap within the organization.
- Coach business leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team characteristics.
- Design, monitor, and measure HR metric/KPIs dashboards to facilitate change and drive key insights and decisions that support growth and retention.
- Play a leadership role in the design and execution of business restructures, and critical workforce planning initiatives, and identify critical succession planning needs.
- Enhance employee development & management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; design fit-for-purpose goal-setting agendas including 360 performance evaluations, and oversee the formal performance review and calibration process.
- Mentor HRBP Team members on employee development best practices to support business needs.
- Champion HR initiatives to support Diversity and Inclusion throughout the organization including the roll-out of action plans and guiding leaders regarding mentorship, development, and promotion of diverse employees.
- Guide HR managers regarding mentorship, development, retention, and promotion of diverse employees.
- Facilitate communication, collaboration, and engagement across all areas of the business.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner Lead in a high-growth company and at least 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, as a generalist, people leader, business partner, or human capital consultant. 1 year managing a team of 1+ HR Generalists or HRBPs, is preferred.
- Experience supporting international clients, stakeholders, and colleagues across US, Europe, and Asia. Supporting and developing partnerships with Sales and/or Marketing-specific teams, preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence, drive change, and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization and challenge the status quo.
- Comfort with ambiguity; strong judgment and ability to make thoughtful decisions leveraging data and insights.
- Successful track record of designing and implementing people's programs while balancing business objectives.
- Demonstrated progression and increased scope in a matrixed, high-growth organization.
- Deep business acumen to grow businesses through the ongoing development and support of its people.
- BA/BS degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Human Resources Management preferred.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $124800 - $228000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
