The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.
This Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic partner to our team in the UK, the commercial organization where you will work with the local leaders to develop and execute best-in-class employee engagement activity from performance reviews, learning and development, and employee retention strategies while also improving existing processes and procedures. Our HRBPs uniquely partner with our Talent Acquisition team to support the growth of the organization ranging from headcount planning, and conducting interviews, to job architecture design and working collaboratively with the wider HR community across the region.
What you'll do:
- Partner with your assigned business unit and business partner to develop a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices within the team.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to grow the GBS business through interviewing, onboarding, and evaluating candidates.
- Coach and mentor the business team to help build a strong community that will improve the development of the business.
- Collaborate with HR team and stakeholders and provide HR guidance when appropriate; including staffing, talent development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Be an ambassador for the TikTok organizational culture as well as plan and implement activities to continue driving employee engagement.
- Guide employees through their onboarding experience, providing a great landing program in their first 90 days.
- Manage HR operation activities: e.g. issuance of offer letters, onboarding of new employees, exit reviews, etc.
- Build experience in employee disciplinary issues and provide advice to stakeholders on ways to manage each case.
Qualifications
- We're seeking individuals with 1-4 years of experience as HR Generalists, HR Ops, or HR Consulting, with exposure to Business Partner functions.
- Hands-on experience in employee relations and assistance with performance management would be preferable.
- Confident in using data to drive and inform core people-focused strategies
- Support and manage cross-functional projects
- Fundamental knowledge of local compliance and labor laws.
- Stakeholder management experience - preferably gained within matrix environments across multiple markets.
- Strong written and oral English language proficiency preferred.
