  Position Summary

  As the HR Business Partner for our New Zealand (NZ) team, you will serve as the local expert on all HR matters, providing comprehensive guidance to both employees and people leaders throughout the entire employee lifecycle. With autonomy and accountability for managing HR operations for our 45-person NZ team, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and execution of Employee Experience strategies encompassing learning and development, organisational effectiveness, performance management, culture, and employee engagement. Building strong partnerships across the organization, you will deliver value-added services to leaders and employees that align seamlessly with our organization's business objectives.

  Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):Consult and coach leaders on any people-related matters providing interpretation, guidance and developing solutions in line with any relevant policy and local legislative requirements whilst ensuring appropriate briefing and escalation to senior managers and HR Manager.Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to people leaders and with executive oversight, assist to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations as required.Partner with local leaders to identify and guide talent needs, facilitate the correct approval and talent acquisition process via the talent team offering local market insights as appropriate and & conduct/act as a panel member for interviews as required.Actively contribute to and/or drive the development, documenting, implementation, and improvement of global and or regional People Ops policies, processes, initiatives and projects including annual cycle (reviews, promotions, transfers).Work together with global payroll team and finance to accurately and timely process payroll.Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:Strong working and current knowledge of NZ employment and safety laws creating the ability to reduce corporate legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.You are a true HR generalist with a passion for operational excellence and have a desire to expand your skillset through global collaboration on key HR projects.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business, including leadership.Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to effectively work and collaborate across departments and levels with a service mindset.Ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.Ability to be a goal-oriented, self-starter who can prioritise activities to achieve results in a rapid growth, changing business atmosphere.Why Join Pax8?
