Responsibilities
The HR Associate Manager supports a client group of Field Sales, Manufacturing & Warehouse employees across three locations in the Indiana Market: Seymour, IN, Austin, IN, and Elberfeld, IN. This role will support the Unit Managers and Plant Director. This role will have a coverage of 1 union contract and ~500 PBNA salaried and frontline employees. This role will be on the PBNA North Division team reporting directly to the Sr. HR Manager for the Indiana Market.
This position will be expected to sit out of the Austin, Indiana Manufacturing site, with support and travel to Seymour and Elberfeld as needed.
Day in the Life:
Strategically lead and fully execute key HR initiatives that support PepsiCo vision You will guide leaders and frontline employees regarding company policies, values, HR program administration (benefits, pay and salary) and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are executed consistently across the siteYou will be responsible for diagnosing organization issues, developing solutions and implementing action planEnsure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulationsPartner with leadership teams on performance management to develop pipeline and succession plansDesign and execute staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs (including campus recruiting). Partner with local teams to ensure ongoing outreach activities.Develop and execute site/region-level strategies to improve Organizational Health and cultureLead and participate in Market & Region level Diversity & Inclusion initiatives

Understanding and experience with most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (employee relations, staffing, labor relations, performance management, leadership development, coaching and training)Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable itemsPowerful and confident communication skills with the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organizationAbility to understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspectivePrevious talent management and organizational planning experienceDemonstrable ability to influence decision-making with leaders and business partnersCourage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poiseComfortable working in ambiguous business situationsSolid expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analyticsConsultative style and approach with ability to develop credible relationships with business partners
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; major in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or other related field preferredMaster's Degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations, or Human Resources Management preferred5-7 years Prior Human Resources and Leadership experienceWe are looking for candidates with experience supporting front-line employees and field-based client groups in a manufacturing or distribution center environmentPreference for Labor Relations experience (Grievance Management, Arbitrations, and Contract Negotiations)This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
