What will you be doing:
Support the management and administration of all health & welfare plans in the US and Canada.Manage all aspects of leave of absence administration, including partnering with internal and outsourced partners for all leaves (e.g., FMLA, State, Medical, Personal, Military) within the US and Canada to ensure consistency and compliance with all policies, laws, and regulations.Collaborate with HR business partners, Legal, supervisors, and managers on complex, escalated leave cases in the U.S. and Canada to resolve issues and assist in development of action plans to address these issues/concerns.Coordinate health and welfare events for US and Canadian locations with vendors and internal partners.Work with outsourced partner to integrate processes for effective customer service and management of the leave of absence administration in the U.S. and Canada.Monitor US and Canadian payroll for employees on leave to ensure accuracy and minimize corrections. Report any changes in pay or benefit deductions timely to payroll.Stay informed and up to date with best practices, and new state and federal leave requirements in US and Canada and legislative actions and makes appropriate recommendations for policy and process changes to ensure compliance with leave of absence administration. Act as a subject-matter expert for legislative and compliance updates.Review weekly US and Canadian benefit vendor error reports and work with vendors and internal partners to make corrections as needed.Manage the Benefits billing process including the creation of Purchase Orders, invoice verifications, submit funding requests, and monitor payments.Perform other benefits job-related projects and duties as assigned.Assess training needs on leave of absence program and provide supervisory/management training as necessary.
What do you need to have?
Typically requires a 4-year degree in related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in Leave of Absence and benefits.Excellent verbal and written communications skills; must be fluent in English.Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data and interpret policies to make recommendations.Demonstrated collaborative work, flexibility, adaptation and problem-solving skills.Accountability and self-driven, attentive to detail, organized.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Advanced Excel skillsPreferably with experience in HRIS and previous work with Workday or UKG Payroll.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$28,333.33 - $36,666.67 MXN Monthly
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
