　　Niagara Hospice is looking for a part time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team of caregivers at Hospice House. You will be eligible for great benefits on your first day of employment while making a difference to patients and families facing terminal illness.

　　Hours: 11:30a-7:30p with every other weekend required

　　Duties & Responsibilities:

　　*Cleans patient rooms and bathrooms.

　　*Cleans communal areas, office areas and bathrooms throughout the hospice house.

　　*Cleans and maintains the staff lounge and staff locker rooms.

　　*Receives, collects and washes/dries patient laundry and general laundry.

　　*Ensures that the linen room, cleaning equipment carts, and floor is kept neat and orderly. Assists in maintaining the laundry facilities, equipment and supplies.

　　*Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local privacy laws and regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

　　Qualifications:

　　*Ability to comprehend housekeeping operations.

　　*Six (6) months of housekeeping experience required; One (1) year experience in housekeeping aide in a healthcare facility preferred.
