Overtime may be available/notguaranteed at \$24.65. Employees must complete company training (paid).
Duties: Retrieving allocated supplies and transporting to area ofresponsibility. Filling cart with supplies and transport cart toassigned area. Entering guest rooms following procedures for gainingaccess and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replacing guest amenities,supplies, linens, and towels in all rooms. Making the bed or beds andcleaning the bathrooms. Removing trash, dirty linen, and service items.Checking that all appliances are present in the room and in workingorder. Straightening desk items, furniture, and appliances; dusting,polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuumingcarpets in guest rooms and hallway. Mopping, sweeping or polishingcommon areas; disposing of trash and cleaning common areas includinglobbies & restaurants. Clean and fold laundry if needed. Following allcompany and safety and security policies and procedures; reporting anymaintenance problems; completing necessary training; properly storingmaterials. Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean andprofessional; maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.Hours may vary based on business needs. Possible increased wage based onexperience. All other duties as assigned. Housekeepers will be requiredto lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and able to move continuouslyduring work hours. Some areas of the Inn are stairs access only. Must beable to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs. CLEANING/SANITIZING REQUIREMENTSMAY BE UPDATED DUE TO COVID19 REQUIREMENTS AND INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES.
Education/experience: No educational experience is required. No workexperience is required.
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wagesdue & workers will be paid weekly. Optional housing may be availableemployer can assist in finding housing; if elected, weekly rate may varyfrom \$85 - \$175 depending on type & style and will be payrolldeducted. If the employee chooses to utilize these services then theywill be payroll deducted. If elected, a housing deposit can be paid bydeduction. Wage increases may be available based on performance and/orpast experience. Some meal service may be available if employee electsto utilize such a service then they may be payroll deducted. Employerwill make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law.Employer will reimburse employee of all visa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, included those mandated by government,incurred by the H-2B worker in the first work week. The employer willpay for daily subsistence at least \$15.46 per day during travel to amaximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts. The employer will provide theworkers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required toperform the job. Shift will vary based on business demands; open 7 daysper week. Typical work hours are 9am 2:00pm but may vary based onbusiness needs. Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, andholidays. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at leasts of the workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period.If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will,in the next pay cycle, reimburse the H-2B worker for transportation andsubsistence costs from the place from which the worker has come to workfor the employer to the place of employment, as required by 20 CFR655.18(b)(12). Upon completion of the work contract or where the workeris dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay fo workersreasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home orto the place worker originally departed to work, except where the workerwill not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Theamount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to themost economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved.
