What You Will Be Doing
· Maintain an environment of professionalism
· To adhere to house rules, departmental policies, and safety standards
· Communicate clearly with guests and management
· Respond to or channel any guest requests/complaints to the department or proper manager
· Use problem-solving skills to professionally handle any guest issue, question, or concern
· Perform other duties as assigned by management
How You Will Do It
· Promote/sell in-house venues of the hotel and water park
· Resolve guest concerns quickly, professionally, and effectively
· Continuous training of staff in Guest Service
· Investigate and resolve guest concerns in a courteous and professional manner
· Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of the Front Office are maintained
· Multitask between reservations and the front desk when the reservations Supervisor is not available
· Strive for a high level of positive guest comments
What You Will Need
· Past employment in a Front Office setting preferred
· Must be able to speak, understand, read, and write English
· Proficiency in computer related programs including Microsoft Office
· Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
· Must be able to be on feet for a period of up to four (4) hours in length
· Possess ability to effectively promote and market all hotel and water park services
· Possess leadership and ability to communicate in a professional manner
· Possess ability to motivate, develop, and direct staff as they work
· Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary
