Job Description
LandSea Camp Services, an Aramark Company, is looking for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our growing workforce accommodation and catering company to provide leadership, support and resources for our camp and lodging operations throughout western Canada.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is responsible for providing sound hospitality and operational direction, to enhance the output and efficiency of all team members in a remote, multi-unit environment. The Hospitality Manager shall be responsible for planning and directing accommodation and catering services including but not limited to, site management, food and beverage, rooms division, inventory management, cost control, team development and overall guest and staff experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in Hotel, Food and Beverage and Project Management, with the leadership skills to grow and inspire people.
Job Responsibilities
Ensures hospitality excellence for all workforce camps and lodges; provides support, leadership, and accountability for multi-unit operations. Act as a role model, emphasize culture and support and practice Guiding Principles.Develops and implements policies, procedures, and systems to improve hospitality operations.Develop, coach, and mentor direct reports through leadership and performance management. Oversite and organization of new site development, specifically facility start ups and shutdowns. Participate in development and, review, of operational budgets. Lead your team to ensure organizational excellence. Compliance, review, and administration of Corporate Management Systems.
Qualifications
University Degree or College Diploma in hospitality management, hotel management or related field.5 years progressive management experience in a multi-unit organization.Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations and Camp Rules and Regulations.Knowledge of Work Safety Regulations and ComplianceProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and general computer literacyAbility to handle pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive working environment.Superior communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and work ethics.Possess a strong sense of professionalism, confidence, positivity and integrity. A desire to manage people in a diverse and challenging environment with a focus on client services and staff retention.Strategic thinker with the ability to align operations with corporate goals and objectives.
Work Hours and Location
Full time salaried position in Squamish, BC (remote to be considered) Periodic travel to project sites and facilities. Estimated at 3-5 days travel per month. Duties and responsibilities will require on-call or evening and weekend support if needed.
