The Hospitality Catering Manager is a key leadership role, responsible for leading the catering and retail operations at a large dining operation. The Hospitality Catering Manager is responsible for managing all catering operations. Additionally, the Hospitality Catering Manager will ensure efficient operations of food services and coffee operations in the retail outlets on site in line with Aramark?s policies, procedures, and client contract.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a food services and catering team able to deliver outstanding hospitality on a daily basis
Ensure from a culinary and customer service perspective that we have the highest quality products available and people delivering our services
Manage and deliver all brand standards for our retail and catering programs
Develop creative catering solutions to meet customers? needs for all events and catering services
Responsible for all of the non-selling aspects of the retail operation including inventory management, food safety, financial performance, Human resources.
Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships and loyalty to services
Train and direct catering employees to ensure catering and events standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
Train retail staff to stay up to date on all customer service programs and product knowledge
Ensure accurate procedures for opening and closing the store, including accountability of cash and credit cards, and security requirements with full accountability for outcomes
Qualifications:
Requires at least 3 years of experience in high end catering services business
A minimum of one year of retail management experience, ideally in a National Franchise setting
Requires at least 1-3 years of experience in a management role overseeing service and culinary
Ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule
Familiar with Microsoft Office and Point of Sales systems
Must have excellent communications skills
Strong organizational skills
Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
Profit and loss (P&L) accountability and /or contract -managed service experience preferred
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service mode
