The schedule for this position is: Tuesday - Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree is preferred
Previous diagnostic laboratory experience ; 3+ years is preferred
Prior leadership or training experience is a plus
Experience working in a specimen management environment is preferred
Prior healthcare industry, such as a physician's office or a hospital highly is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required
Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond
Must be courteous with strong customer service orientation
Excellent multitasking abilities required
Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Assist supervisor with the guidance of the specimen management staff
Provide support and training to new and current staff as requested by leadership
Handle any escalations in order to resolve any account inquires or issues
Act a liaison between LabCorp, the customer base and patients
Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures
Provide additional customer education and information as needed
Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions
Create and monitor the daily workflow
Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
Perform administrative support for medical record management and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance
