An internship with PulteGroup Inc. offers a unique opportunity to expand your horizons in an exciting industry, gain hands-on experience, and build a strong foundation to support your long-term career goals. During your internship you can expect to gain a holistic understanding of the homebuilding industry and contribute to meaningful projects. We also will invest in you and your continued development through centralized training and development opportunities throughout the summer. Lastly, you’ll get to showcase your experience and ideas by closing your internship with a capstone presentation with your local leadership team.
Home Office Internship Opportunities Available in:
Marketing:
Collect and analyze data to identify consumer trends.
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, email, and web).
Assist with intake, trafficking, and creation of assets for media requests.
Perform competitive market analysis to identify areas of opportunity.
Assist in SEO projects, which include blog posts and website content.
Treasury:
Support routine cash management responsibilities (liquidity, covenants, debt portfolio, etc) on behalf of the organization; as well as help forecast future funding needs and opportunities.
Perform competitive analysis and benchmarking of financial statements and metrics within the homebuilding industry.
Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Opportunity to learn intermediate to advanced Excel skills and training to build financial models for acquisitions or other treasury related projects.
Participate in special projects such as process improvements, system implementations, or other initiatives to enhance treasury operations.
Legal:
Assist with review and filing of Corporate records; assist with management of corporate records database.
Assist with the preparation of legal and compliance documents.
Review and email and other discovery documents as assigned.
Research legal, compliance and news research by reviewing laws, statutes, constitutions, regulations, court opinions, including precedents and reasoning, and trends using standard print texts and computers; prepare legal memoranda related to same.
Other clerical duties, such as handling mail, faxing, using a copy machine, maintaining a calendar, managing office equipment and ordering supplies.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Information Technology:
Joins a software development team and assists with coding, debugging, testing, and supports overall team efforts.
Functions as member of a scrum team to complete user stories and fix bugs during sprints; supporting team as needed.
Works under direct supervision of a software development mentor and/or on routine assignments.
Corporate Communications:
Help identify and produce communications for internal website and newsletters.
Develop and track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability.
Create content including videos, photos, graphics, and stories for use internally.
Help ensure consistency of messaging across the organizations various communications platforms.
Prepare and distribute communications templates to management for use in sharing corporate information with employees.
Human Resources:
Assist in building and maintaining dashboards, custom reports, and analytics products for the HR function.
Develop initial leadership reports to derive key trends, insights, and actionable takeaways for people metrics.
Research and develop recommendations to solve business challenges related to people analytics requests.
Support HR projects through stakeholder management, running effective meetings, and assisting in project planning.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, define, and prioritize business requirements for a variety of HR projects.
Talent and Organizational Development:
Elevate PulteGroup's brand and storytelling through strategic ideation and creation of social media posts for LinkedIn, content for our PultePride newsletter, content for our internal newsletter, assistance with our Career page, and more.
Support various Talent Attraction and Acquisition Programs, including the National Internship Program, Hiring our Heroes, etc.
Support various Organizational Development Programs, including LinkedIn Learning customized learning paths, Pulte Breaking Ground Onboarding program, PulteGroup Leadership Framework and Leadership Academy, Pulte Performance Management, Great Place to Work Trust Survey and Culture Audit, etc.
Other Talent and Organizational Development related duties as assigned or needed.

High School diploma GED, or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18-years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States.
Our various Home Office Internships are ideal for candidates pursuing a number of degrees including Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, Marketing, Information Technology, Communication, Human Resources, Pre-law, or similar degree.
Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application or must have graduated the semester immediately preceding the start of the internship.
Minimum of sophomore status preferred.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of application or graduation preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skillsets

Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong tech-savvy competency; experience with Excel and Microsoft Teams specifically.

2024 Summer Internship Blueprint: In your 2024 internship role you will work alongside our experienced professionals and mirror that team’s schedule and flexibility models. Please read each role’s description and discuss with your hiring team to best understand the team’s expectations.
Application Dates: October 1st, 2023 – February 28th, 2024
Internship Dates: May 20th, 2024 – August 9th, 2024 (12 weeks) (*Schedule may be adjusted based on individual student need.)
40 hours per week; schedule depends on the internship position and its requirements.
Compensation: All internships are competitively paid. (Pay varies on position and location.)
Format: Home Office internships are hybrid format with a mix of in-office days and work from home days. Exact schedule will vary based on intern position and team; interns will mirror the schedule/format of their designated team. Home Office internships are based out of our Atlanta Buckhead location (3350 Peachtree Rd Atlanta, GA) apart from IT who may have opportunities in our Phoenix, AZ office.
Each intern will have the opportunity to shadow various functions that go into the homebuilding process. This will give you a holistic view and appreciation for the homebuilding industry and, who knows, may even spark an interest in an area you didn’t know existed!
Internships may include a capstone presentation or final project.
