Position Summary:
Direct a Home section to increase sales, control expenses, and reduce shrink. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Essential Job Functions:
Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer serviceMaintain compliance with corporate policies, merchandising and operational standards/requirementsExecute weekly merchandise specialist notes, period planner, seasonal merchandising plans, sales event bulletins, and planograms/compositesImplement, audit, and maintain ad in-stocksOrder/process merchandise, supplies, and control inventory levels for departmentComplete price change functions; perform inventoryRemove pick-labels from merchandise; complete planograms/composites and seasonal transitionsComply with signing standards and apply electronic article surveillance (EAS) security tags to operational standardsTake appropriate action on scan audits based on option 8 scansWrite intersection transfersTrain/develop associatesAudit and correct errors in the acquisition and disposition logsEnsure the daily inventory has been completedTrain Pro Shop staff members and ensure all staff members are kept up-to-dateMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus a minimum of six months Fred Meyer experience and 1 year of related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experienceMaintain confidentialityAccuracy/attention to detailFred Meyer lift truck certification/licenseValid driver's licenseAbility to operate compactor, cardboard bailer, pallet jack, Shelf Price Audit (SPA) unit, Comtec, and Swiftach
Desired Previous Job Experience:
Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structureProficiency with Report Management and Distribution System (RMDS), Magic, and current Company email
The final rate of pay is determined at store level based on prior equivalent work experience.
