Summary:
Come join our rapidly growing health system as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, where our patient-centered and well-rounded team provides professional pharmaceutical services to patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff. This position will focus on the inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit, satellite pharmacy and additional inpatient services as needed.
• ur group is looking for a highly motivated candidate to ensure optimal pharmaceutical therapy outcomes with medication management planning and education for our patients and families. We want candidates with a strong passion caring for patients with diverse and complicated disease states in collaboration with providers, nurses, clinical technicians, student interns, and pharmacy residents.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited ACPE school of pharmacyMinimum of 2 years of pharmacist experience in a health-system or completion of a PGY1 residency is requiredCurrent license or license eligible to practice as a registered pharmacist in TexasTexas pharmacy preceptor licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employmentCPR - BLS is required, PALS required for critical care areas only
