Program Description
The Healthcare Leadership Rotational Program is designed to develop leaders with enterprise-wide thinking through a structured 3-year program that rotates participants through strategy, finance, analytics, and operational experiences within Humana.
Working with senior leaders throughout the company, participants in this program will receive critical experience building opportunities in key strategic initiatives around integrated care delivery as they develop a broad understanding of the healthcare industry. At the same time, Humana will benefit from leveraging outside-in thinking to advance our strategy while developing a pipeline of mid-career professionals with strategic enterprise thinking.
The Healthcare Leadership Rotational Program is a 3-year commitment which will include up to 4 rotations starting in Corporate Development, Strategic Planning, or Strategy Management. The following rotations could include Market Operations, Home Business, Primary Care Organization, Retail Strategy, Finance, and other key business segments.
This program provides a unique opportunity for talented professionals to gain critical experience building opportunities in key strategic initiatives and platform to develop a broad understanding of integrated healthcare industry. In this role you will receive focused mentoring and sponsorship from senior leaders for accelerated career growth in addition to tailored leadership development and robust cohort and peer networking opportunities.

Required Qualifications
MBA or other master's degree (e.g. MPH, MHA), graduation dates targeting 2021-spring of 2024
Minimum of 3 years of work experience prior to beginning graduate school
Proven leadership experience
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Commitment to innovative thought, strategic thinking, and making a difference
Ability to work independently and in teams
Experience influencing and partnering with senior leadership
Strong intellectual curiosity, with the ability to challenge the status quo
Aptitude to translate business acumen into meaningful customer outcomes, using multiple solutions, such as analytics, digital
Will not require sponsorship now or in the future
Additional Information
The starting location of the rotational program will be Louisville, KY or Washington, DC
Locations of rotations 2-4 are flexible based on business areas of interest and location preferences, either in a formal Humana office (DC, Boston, Chicago, etc) or work from home.
Relocation assistance will be provided.
