The Senior Health Client Manager (Sr HCM) is viewed as the health benefits service lead for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction, domain consulting, and requirements creation and maintenance.
The Sr HCM is our most experienced and tenured Client Manager role. This role tends to be aligned to multiple clients of varying complexity or aligned to one extremely high complex client. Alignment is based on number of participants, complexity of requirements and complexity of relationship with client.
The Sr HCM will have exceptional interpersonal skills along with the ability to interface and negotiate with multiple levels, both internally and externally. This is not a sales role.
Please note- this role will not manage a team but is expected to act as a SME and coach/mentor others. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities as a Sr HCM may include any or all of the following:
Manage projects of significant size and complexity from beginning to end and provide subject matter expertise to clientWork independently on domain and operational solutionsSeamlessly work with a global team of colleagues focused on client delivery and satisfactionUse ad hoc reporting, Google Analytics, and Advanced Table Editor to assist with escalations, and consult with clientsMaintain and validate client relationship/risk status within the tracking systemAct as the subject matter expert for all service specific and common client requirements; accountable for requirement changes across various aspects of client deliveryLead and facilitate updates for all applicable requirements documents, interface documentation, and delivery channel documentation for clientsManage the delivery of client reporting, including non-standard client reporting needsRepresent any client escalations and oversees the resolution to ensure client satisfactionIllustrate proper investigation through a variety of information sources to draw conclusions; can identify when to escalate to Performance Team Leader as needed
Preferred background and skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required 8 years' experience of health/wealth project and client management experience including multifaceted projects and teams (including onsite and virtual) The ability to persuade, influence and negotiate. (Must have a track record of influencing indirect parties to accomplish client objectives) Solid understanding of technology solutions in order to consult with clientsAbility to translate concepts to client requirements that drive solutions to meet client needsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsLeadership and coaching skills

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight takes into consideration a candidate's experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography when determining an offer for a successful employment candidate, and Alight does so on an individualized, non-discriminatory basis. Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $55,800.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $88,500.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be eligible for a bonus and/or other incentive plans.
