The senior advisor will be responsible for developing a risk management process, identifying mitigations and ensuring mitigations are incorporated into business plans. Responsible for developing and documenting a risk management process that will be integrated into business operations Establishing partnerships with subject matter experts to engage in the risk management processes and workshops Lead cross functional teams of subject matter experts through the established risk process to identify risks, identify mitigations and develop mitigation project plans Develop and manage the ongoing tracking of a risk register, including risk scoring and assessment Regularly collaborate with stakeholder teams, such as the Data team and Enterprise Risk Management, to inform safety risk management efforts, or with organizational units to operationalize identified mitigations Provide recommendations to senior leaders to advise on mitigation plans and/or to obtain approvals for mitigation plans Coordinate the ongoing cycle of risk management efforts
Qualifications
The essentials
10 or more years in safety or risk management Experience analyzing data and trends 5 or more years of experience leading or managing complex projects and programs
The preferred
Experience developing and communicating briefing and policy options to company leadership Strong Microsoft Office skills to create and build executive decks, briefings and other strategy documentation Success managing diverse project portfolio across organizational units Cross-Edison Organizational Unit formal job experience Safety Management System (SMS) experience Strong knowledge of systems thinking
You Should Know
This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
