The schedule is Monday - Friday: 11:00am to 8:00pm ET/10:00am to 7:00pm CT/9:00am to 6:00pm MT/8:00am to 5:00pm PT
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist clients in creating a healthy vision and goals for their exercise and health Participate in weekly meetings and monthly in - service trainings Demonstrate an ability to deliver effective health coaching in a manner that promotes behavior change Appropriately adapt telephonic and/or chat-based coaching and education methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age - specific needs of each clientele served Demonstrate established customer service behaviors and standards Engage and guide individuals to talk about their health within the social context of their lives, what is most troubling to them about their conditions, what they most want to change, what support they will need in order to foster change and what they are willing to do to advance healthy behavior and better habits

Required Qualifications:
Current/Unrestricted Physical Therapy or Chiropractor license in your state of residence 2+ years of experience required in direct education and/or coaching with individuals for exercise, disease prevention, health promotion and behavior change Experience working with Musculoskeletal (neck, shoulder, back, hip and knee) conditions Intermediate level of proficiency in PC - based word processing and database documentation (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook) A designated, distraction-free office space from home Access to high-speed internet (Broadband cable, DSL or Fiber) from your home Ability to work required hours - Monday - Friday: 11:00am to 8:00pm ET/10:00am to 7:00pm CT/9:00am to 6:00pm MT/8:00am to 5:00pm PT
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified in a nationally recognized health coaching program Experience with the use of motivational interviewing Experience with the Medicare and/or Medicaid population Experience using a dialer system Experience working in a remote (telecommute) environment Knowledge of disease prevention and basic understanding of exercise principles, nutrition and weight management Willingness to teach, learn and be open to new and innovative ways of delivering prevention lifestyle intervention services
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
