About this role:
Wells Fargo’s Global Operations team provides middle and back-office services for all five of Wells Fargo’s Lines of Business (Consumer and Small Business Banking, Consumer Lending, Wealth and Investment Management, Commercial Banking and the Corporate and Investment Bank) and Enterprise Functions, across locations in the US, India and the Philippines.
Data, Analytics and Reporting (DAR) is the team leading the transformation of Global Operations’ data and analytics capabilities, driving the modernization of our platform and adoption of ML and AI techniques.
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Strategy and Execution leader for the Data, Analytics and Reporting team.
In this role, you will:
Drive the execution of the DAR transformation Roadmap, managing the program, identifying resource issues and providing updates across the organization
Manage strategic projects for DAR, like the consolidation and streamlining of reports and metrics, the development of Global Operations-wide reporting, or enhancing the navigability of DAR’s single report repository
Develop and implement a single framework to understand and assess the risk associated with reports and analytics deliverables, and apply controls to ensure that they are delivered as intended (e.g. standards for business required documentation, testing, quality of reports in production)
Build and operate a centralized QA team to check the adherence to procedures and standards
Partner with finance to assign value to efficiency opportunities identified, track the execution of these opportunities, and value realization
Run the people and culture agenda for DAR (e.g. training, team events, communications, recruitment)
Partner with support functions (HR, Finance, Communications) to implement Global Operations initiatives and other business management activities (Budget, Location Strategy, etc.)
Lead a team of data analysis and program management professionals in the day-to-day delivery of their work. Manage overall capacity, identify resourcing constraints and make decisions and/or escalate accordingly
Partner with horizontal teams in DAR and other teams across the firm (DMI, Data tech, Controls) to jointly deliver on the book of work (e.g. control automation)
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
6+ years of management experience
8+ years of program or business management experience in the Data and Analytics domain
Desired Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in the development and implementation of data and analytics platforms
6+ years of experience in consulting roles, with a focus on program management, roadmap development and execution
6+ years of experience in data controls, data governance, and reporting quality
6+ years of experience in the management of product or technology programs and budgets
Experience in the development of executive level communications (executive presentations, strategic plans, etc.)
Experience in the development and/or execution of controls and procedures in the data and reporting space
Experience managing virtually, including leading on- and offshore employees
Experience successfully developing actionable strategies to inform, influence, and drive business outcomes
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including executive management, regulatory examiners, and internal auditors.
Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating high performing teams that work well under pressure.
Experience leading in a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven environment
Experience providing “credible challenge” to business partners, when necessary, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment
Ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage (while achieving results) large-scale change and influence people at all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work hybrid work schedule o9f 3 days in office / 2 remote
Ability to travel 1-2 times per month within the US
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
