Job Description Team Summary
The Products and Solutions team is responsible for developing product strategy, providing the thought leadership and long-term design for the growth of credit, debit and prepaid products across the market. This includes Issuer Engagement, Benefits & CVP, Digital Partnership management, Digital Deployment and Digital Solutioning for both Consumer and Commercial Solutions in market.
This team is a critical function tasked with driving the use of Visa credentials and solutions across existing and new clients in the market. In addition, the Products and Solutions team also serve as key influencers of the broader payments strategy in the market that helps drive innovation and growth in the large ecosystem.
What a Head of Products and Solutions does at Visa:
The Head of Products and Solutions, Taiwan will be responsible for leading the Taiwan product team, working closely with Taiwan General Manager and Head of Products and Solutions, Greater China (GC). The position will collaborate with all the major functions (Marketing, Client Services, Consulting Services, Merchants Sales and Solutions, Government Relations etc) as well as Visa Singapore-based Regional Product executives across Issuing Solutions, Core Platform Solutions, Commercialization, Risk Solutions in order to continuously improve Visa product relevance and competitiveness in Taiwan, drive adoption of emerging solutions, and commercialize new products and capabilities.
Develop go-to-market plan and roll-out AP Regional product priorities in Taiwan in order to strengthen Visa competitiveness in the market, launching new product initiatives on time, within budget and across multiple clients by leveraging a team of product experts and by facilitating alignment across functionsManage Core Card and Core Platform product rules, pricing, baseline benefits / features in order to grow share and usage of Visa credentials across segments, including Affluent, Cross-border and Small TicketGrow value-added service revenues by building and converting a pipeline of clients for Engagement, Risk, Data and other value-added product offeringsManage and meet financial performance indicators for Visa core products in Taiwan including revenue targets and operating expense budgetsManage and meet business metric performance for Visa core products in Taiwan, including card-in-force, payment volume, transaction countBe part of Taiwan Leadership team, serve as the thought-partner of General Manager and other functional leaders leveraging in-depth insights around payment landscape and Visa solutionsLead a team of product experts focused on identifying solutions to address client needs, working closely with AEs and other functions to deliver best-in-class pitches that combine Visa capabilities in a 360 mannerRegularly interface with key payment ecosystem players – including issuers, merchants, regulatory bodies and industry experts – to gather feedback and refine Visa product priorities in Taiwan

The Head of Products and Solutions role will support the growth initiatives to drive our core as well as value added services business, drive product solutioning and innovation through the payment ecosystem including issuers, sellers, digital partners etc, and create the best payment experience for paying and being paid using Visa.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications What you will need:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced people manager with deep understanding of open-loop payment card issuing / acquiring business.
• 15+ years’ experience in consumer cards marketing, new card launches, digital payment solution commercialization in an international card scheme, financial institution, or fintech
• A natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence
• Disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and organizations internal and external to Visa
• Experience in building and coaching a high-performing team
• Strong understanding of trends and themes in payments and commerce, futurist outlook and passion for technology innovation
• Concise and compelling English communications (verbal and written) a must
• Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese
• Post graduate qualifications and top tier MBA highly desirable
