Our People Movement (PM) function is responsible for attracting, engaging, and onboarding market-leading talent into the organization.
We are looking for a Recruitment Lead to lead the team of recruiters in delivering hiring plans across Markit Intelligence, S&P DJI, and Strategic Alliances businesses.
You’ll use your strong market knowledge and communication skills to tell our story and influence processes and decisions, which will contribute to extraordinary results for the candidate and business! It will be important that you build strong relationships to collaborate with peers, business partners, and key leaders to get results for the People Movement. As part of the recruiting team, you’ll have resources to get things done, and autonomy to lead strategy and define tactics to attract top talent.
Responsibilities:
Anticipate team needs and growth and hire, flex and stretch to meet changing business demands
Self-motivated and self-assured; the ability to collaborate is needed but you will be autonomous and expected to succeed without a ton of direction
Execute the talent acquisition strategy to meet the business's current and future needs; specifically scaling the recruiting efforts to support a high-growth organization
Drive team performance through the utilization of metric and data-centered decisions
Own senior leader relationships across businesses establishing yourself as a credible and trusted voice of PM
Create, lead, and achieve buy-in to a Talent Acquisition roadmap including a functional EVP and go-to-market strategy
Manage the DEI hiring roadmap of internal and external diversity events within your region
You’ll also be responsible for extensive reporting and analytics to measure the impact of our hiring efforts (including DEI) in a rigorous and data-driven way
Recognize and embrace opportunities for positive change to recruitment processes and behaviors in both PM and the wider business
Work closely with your PM leadership peers to co-create and deliver on the strategic vision for PM
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established processes and Implement corrective actions based on audit findings
Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors providing recruitment solutions
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Collaborate and work closely with other regional leaders to maintain a global alignment within talent acquisition
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for an established recruitment leader with a proven record of operational delivery in large-scale, complex environments.
Deep understanding of the Indian talent market, challenges, opportunities, and trends.
7+ years of experience in team management or leadership role
Experience in successfully navigating within a matrixed organization.
Track record of optimizing recruitment systems and processes.
A strong business partner with excellent communication skills who understands the nuances of leading through ambiguity
