WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Supporting UniOps strategic priorities in Sri Lanka through working closely with the journeys/experiences and global platforms to enable growth.
Owning technology roadmap for the business, aligned with the global strategic roadmap and journeys/experiences view to ensure driving business value in the cluster.
Being able to spot opportunities of using global technology solutions within the Cluster, drive adoption of the global solutions.
Being accountable for high uptime resilience of business-critical systems.
Be a master communicator. Ensure that business leaders are well informed about how technology can drive their business, any major risk areas, implementation plans, financial impacts.
Managing and deploy all elements of the technology programs, including all programs under IT Investment Board, Application Lifecycle Management and BAU Project budgets and operational systems.
Ensure the optimal risk profile of projects and programs based on business needs.
Ensuring effective resource balancing and prioritization across the South Asia programs and projects.
Managing the Geo technology team, including virtual teams, and 3rd party service providers.
Ensuring effective decommissioning and life cycle management of all local and Business Managed Applications, ensuring the applications are maintained in a supported state.
Attracting and develop talent across technology team to be able to work in an agile, collaborative, and digital way.
Being an active team player across the technology leadership team driving common ways of working and leveraging our global scale.
Focusing on continuous skills development of the Geo IT team and end users in the Cluster.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Candidate should:
Be a graduate in Information Technology or related field, Masters is preferred.
Have minimum 10 + years experience in IT in any industry.
Have preferred experience in leading large programs in digital transformation, data and analytics, ERP etc.
Have led large teams in achievement of key KPIs and strategic goals.
