Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in leading multiple projects or programs at one time.
Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently.
Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of entrepreneurship and bias for action, with experience going from idea to impact.
Understanding of founder needs and issues along with the Japan startup ecosystem and engaged landscape.
Ability to take initiative and work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work across disciplines effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple stakeholders.
Excellent project management and influencing skills.
Excellent networking, problem-solving, investigative, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Be a startup advocate inside and outside of Google, and drive positive change in the ecosystem by focusing on key ecosystem challenges, promoting DEI and Google's core values. Define the GFS Japan value proposition based on the needs of the local startup ecosystem. Represent GFS in your country in the startup ecosystem, with key opinion formers, press and local leaders, media engagements, and conferences. Represent GFS at major startup related events in Japan. Co-create Google for Startups' strategy and priorities globally. Adapt global GFS strategy into local plans, collaborating with country and regional leadership to offer startups the best of Google.
