About the Team:

  We are looking for a career Talent Acquisition (TA) leader who leverages differences, brings their best, and pushes the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Illumio. The successful candidate will index heavily on cross-organizational collaboration (both within and outside the people team), collegiality and execution with a sense of urgency for their work and that of other teams.

  

Key Responsibilities:

As Head of Talent, you will create and lead a creative and effective talent acquisition strategy across the near term (3-12 month) and long term (2-3 year) horizons. The long-term horizon talent strategy will be in the vein of overall Workforce Planning, and in collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team, the People Operations Team, and the Compensation Team.

  You will lead a talent team and recruiting engine that delivers results today, while getting us ready for the next stage of scale through designing, strengthening and promoting our recruiting model and programs.

  As a senior leader and skilled collaborator, you will act as a trustworthy partner to the business to identify gaps in our talent strategy and processes and leverage new and emerging approaches and technologies to attract and win key and top talent.

  With the support of your team, you will be accountable for meeting on-time delivery of: talent placements across the business, university recruiting/early in career program, employer branding, employer value proposition (EVP), talent metrics and training. Your delivery will be global in nature (APAC, Japan, Americas, and EMEA) and will operate with an eye to Illumio’s overall commitment to a culture of inclusion and diversity where we are committed to a culture of “Onwards, Together” where are all welcome and supported to do the best work of their careers.

  

Experience:

Successful track-record of talent acquisition strategy implementation in a growing global technology company

  Results oriented mindset with the ability to drive results through others, strong analytical and process orientation

  Ability to use data and metrics to root cause areas of slowed recruiting productivity and provide an accurate picture of recruiting health on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  Ability to present compelling business cases using data and gain support for successful initiative implementation

  Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams

  Expertise in the best and latest talent acquisition strategies and technologies

  Skills to identify, root cause and solve areas of ineffective practices

  Drive for creating necessary change that improves business performance

  Deep experience and drive for building an employer brand and value proposition

  Ability to communicate effectively across various mediums – written, verbal, presentation

  Strong business acumen, with the ability to craft and teach a compelling value propositions for candidates

  15 years of full cycle recruiting experience, with at least 10 years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience

  Undergraduate degree required

  

Bonus Points:

Experience leading talent acquisition from a start-up through a public offering and beyond

  Experience with administration of Applicant Tracking Systems, such as Greenhouse Recruiting and integration with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), such as Workday

  Pay Range:

  $ 242,000 USD - $ 290,000 USD

  The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
